Meet the Experts

Dattatraya Kulkarni – Program Manager, Infosys Validation Solutions

With rich and insightful experience in software testing, automation, and non-functional testing in investment banking domain, Mr. Datta has 16 years of experience working as an IT professional. He is experienced in program management across multi-region and multi-year programs. Over the years, he has managed teams across a wide range of Exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) operations and business sponsored programs including futures and options, over-the-counter credit / rates / foreign exchange, exchange mandatory change, new products, and compulsory regulatory changes. He also has in-depth exposure in trading technology applications, including reference data systems in equities and derivatives.

Mr. Datta has handled large transformation programs from transition state to a steady state, and then to transformation state. He has been involved in planning, design, coding, test plan, and test cases for functionality, system, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.

Azfar Alam – Principal Consultant, Infosys Validation Solutions

Mr. Azfar has more than 19 years of experience in test consulting, test management, and global test delivery. He has offered test consulting and managed test delivery for some of the top global banks and financial institutions. As a veteran in this space, Mr. Azfar has extensive domain experience in banking (both investment and retail), finance, insurance, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. He has expertise in test process consulting including TCOE implementations and assessments. Over the years, he has led transformation initiatives with particular focus on definition of Agile Test Framework Model and implementation, and has also managed test transition programs.

Mr. Azfar has led test teams across geographies and has done long stints in the US and in India. He is currently based out of London, UK.
