Solution Showcases

  • Unlocking immersive media with 5G and media network

Infosys has incubated immersive 360° video streaming as an industry offering and developed an industry – first 5G Virtual reality streaming proof of concept for a leading Australian telco. We created VR apps for the Oculus Rift (tethered), Samsung Gear VR (mobile), and WebVR (browser) while integrating these apps with the client’s content delivery network (CDN).

  • Blockchain unleashed for communications, media and entertainment

Infosys Blockchain enabled Digital Asset Management solution is equipped with a set of APIs to encode media assets – digital and physical. The APIs help encode and transfer ownership of assets. Also, APIs manage payment and royalty management. Our solution provides a web interface to analyze transactions for ownership and transfer of digital media rights.

  • Infosys Media & Entertainment Platform

The platform offers advanced functionalities such as visual and voice activated search, automatic metadata generation (Facial and object recognition, voice to text, and optical character recognition), real– time intelligent content and consumer analytics, robotic workflow management, localization on– demand, on– demand content delivery to multiple platforms, on– demand product placement, and immersive consumer engagement.

  • Internet of Everything

Infosys digital agricultural ecosystem ensures accurate measurement of crop yield and field conditions. Precision mapping maximizes agriculture resource utilization while variable rate technology (VRT) solutions optimize the usage of seeds and crop protection products by integrating farm equipment with precision maps.

  • Virtual Banking

With Infosys Virtual Banking, user can visualize how a small business or large corporation conducts financial transactions with immersive interaction of a brick and mortar branch, along with remote access from home or office. The virtual banking use case focuses on customized customer service, biometric security and authentication, and data visualization.

  • Frictionless Cognitive Care

The solution provides an enterprise framework and a do-it-yourself (DIY) approach for telcos and their field technicians. It capitalizes on an interplay of emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR) powered guidance, virtual reality (VR)– based immersive learning, voice– based interaction with artificial intelligence bot, remote expert help via live feed of field view, location– based services (LBS) driven outdoor and indoor guidance, while leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) driven smart insights, and process automation at the telco backend.

  • Artificial Intelligence in smart contracts

Infosys Nia Contracts Analysis and Nia Provenance work together by combining artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain technologies to implement contractual obligations in real time, and in a transparent manner. Nia Contracts Analysis is a platform enabling businesses and law firms to navigate complex contract documents. It uses advanced machine learning techniques such as deep learning and semantic modeling to transform the process of analyzing and reviewing contracts.

  • Digital self – service journeys

Infosys digital strategy is focused on providing an omnichannel customer experience (CX). Infosys artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) offerings establish chatbot center of excellence (CoEs) and services in self– service. Chatbots eliminate human intervention to address customer queries for payment issues, automatic payments, clarifications. Our ‘Setting up IVR and voice– based recognition’ offerings help eliminate silos and prevent consumer friction.

  • AI Ontology for Telco – Media Convergence

Infosys Nia, our artificial intelligence (AI) platform, adopts an expressive ontology to catalogue new asset types and rights with minimal effort. Nia offers an extensive library of reusable and expressive knowledge comparable to a modern programming library. Like any modern programming language, it provides an expressive language to describe an asset in detail. The reusable library makes the coding process practical. The language processing tools associated with the library enable efficient encoding of factual knowledge in the ontology.
