Event overview

The utilities industry is being disrupted by renewable energy sources and sustainable business practices. Digital consumers also expect enhanced responsiveness in terms of service, billing, and a seamless customer experience.

Infosys collaborates with SAP to help utilities streamline grid maintenance, monitor assets and enable predictive maintenance, manage meter reading and energy data, and provide analytics for informed decision making.

Infosys, a community partner sponsor at SAP for Utilities, is hosting a session on ‘Best Practices in Data Migration for SAP CR&B Transformation’. Meet with our experts in person or virtually and learn how your utility can undertake a business transformation.

Ask the Expert Session: Best Practices in Data Migration for SAP CR&B Transformation
October 18, 1:55 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. PDT | Old Town AB, Second Level

When your utility is undergoing a digital transformation, migration of customer billing data from legacy systems is a mission-critical project. To help you navigate this journey, we present a speaking session along with Southern California Edison, with whom we collaborated on a data conversion project.

In ‘Best Practices in Data Migration for SAP CR&B Transformation,’ our utility and SAP experts will walk you through the data migration during a complex SAP CR&B project, which involved extraction and transformation of 21 billion records from 15+ disparate legacy systems to SAP CR&B and SAP C4C.

    The talking points will cover:

  • Minimizing business impact via minimal cutover downtime
  • Methods of achieving high rates of converted data quality
  • Replication to C4C / cloud apps
  • Integration with end-to-end test cycles
  • Suite of tools used
