The session presents a case study on how Baker Hughes extended its business transformation solution to drive greater ROI using a field mobility framework. Baker Hughes' quote to cash program freed up working capital by improving operating efficiency, reducing price leakage and account receivables (DSO). The firm decided to drive the benefits of this program to remote locations not only to empower the global nature of the oilfield services business but also to further increase ROI. Speakers present their perspective on mobility framework and discuss the impact of this initiative on the overall program.

Viren Walavalkar

Viren has over 15 years of industry experience in the fields of business intelligence, knowledge management, business process re-engineering, capability and positioning, and market research. He is credited with design and delivery of several industry leading solutions for the energy industry .

Viren has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pune and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Texas, Austin. He is a certified Information Systems Auditor.

Ashish Kumar

Dr. Ashish has over 14 years of industry and consulting experience. He has worked with leading Manufacturing, Oil field services, CPG, and Retail organizations transforming their order to cash, supply chain, engineering, and master data management processes. His expertise spans process re-design, value engineering, solution architecture, and development of business solutions leveraging SOA and BPM on SAP NetWeaver business process platform. He has also managed business transformation programs and supported practice development with sales in North America and Europe.

Dr. Ashish holds a Masters from IIT, Kanpur and a Doctorate from IIM Bangalore, India. He is also a certified Project Management Professional.
