However, the positive impact on the customer’s business through structured QA processes, tools and methodologies is seldom understood. The session focuses on typical businesses values which are important to clients and how QA plays a key role in delivering them.
Shishank Gupta manages a multi-million dollar testing portfolio spread across multiple locations. He has extensive experience in organization building, service portfolio creation, business planning, and skills development for testing professionals. He has worked in various domains such as Retail, Banking and ecommerce and has hands on experience in performance test strategizing to execution. He anchored the Independent Validation Solutions Academy, an independent training and knowledge management body within Infosys, which won an excellence award for People Development.
Shishank regularly delivers talks on evangelizing Independent Testing as a rewarding career and has presented papers at International HR Conference, Amsterdam and PMI EMEA Congress, Budapest. He holds a patent for his Test Unit based estimation model. Shishank has authored multiple whitepapers on optimizing testing effort and creating learning culture in organizations. His article titled 'Maximizing your investments in e-commerce' was published in the RIS business journal and 'Domain Based Testing is Here' in Testing Experience magazine. He delivered a key note lecture at QSIT on ‘Achieving more with less' in the context of QA organizations.
He is an engineering graduate and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). He also holds certifications in Retail, Banking domain and J2EE technology.
