At the EPCglobal US Conference 2006, leading industry experts will speak on the implementation tools, industry best practices, and global standards for EPC/RFID. Infosys, CHEP and SAP will conduct a joint interactive workshop on creating successful asset management initiatives.

Infosys will feature interactive demos of its RFID solutions:

  • New Product Introduction and Promotions (NPI&P), developed together with SAP, provides real-time visibility of product movement across the value chain, on promotional displays and right up to the store shelf.
  • Medical Device Management (MDV) uses the convergence of automatic identification and data collection (AIDC), remote processing and wireless communication technologies. This minimizes product obsolescence, ensures traceability and maximizes availability.

Infosys will showcase an RFID-enabled solution, which enables retailers to enhance consumer experience and simplify and improve operations. Concepts that include smart print media, channel convergence, smart visual merchandising and other consumer interaction methods will also be showcased.
