In an informational online seminar, Infosys and NorthStar discuss how financial institutions can solve investment policy compliance issues, reduce compliance risk and increase staff productivity.
Infosys provides methodologies and services for the NorthStar Compliance Solution to help clients define their wealth management compliance workflow and technology needs, including strategic planning, rapid customization, integration to internal systems, system optimization, and end user training.
The Infosys implementation:
- Provides gap analysis and mapping of the product features to the stated client requirements
- Ensures traceability of requirements in a phased implementation
- Ensures compliance by following prevention and detection of violations so that clients get maximum use of their system's product features
- Provides a data integration adaptor built for the technology platform
Edward L. Smith, Associate Vice President, Banking and Capital Markets, Infosys Technologies, Ltd., is a 30-year veteran of the technology industry. He currently heads the Product Services Group of Infosys Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) business unit and oversees sales, consulting, operations and delivery. Prior to this position, Edward managed the Solutions and Alliances program and Marketing for Infosys BCM. Prior to Infosys, he has been VP of Business Development for Fontanus, GM for Global Alliances at Novell, Director of Territory Sales at Apple, and Technical Specialist at APF Electronics. He has majors in Marketing and Computer Science from the Pace University.
Robert Skea is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Worldwide Field Operations at NorthStar, responsible for all market-facing functions. Prior to joining NorthStar, he ran the U.S. based Consultative Accounts organization within Reuters America (RAM) where he was responsible for all client relationships, revenue growth and maintenance. Robert has served JP Morgan Chase Bank and Multex in a variety of strategy, sales and operational roles. He obtained a BS in Marketing from Rutgers University and is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals.
