Infosys implemented a centralized invoicing solution using an SDD model powered by Kiro AI.
Structured specifications guided automated code generation throughout the application lifecycle.
The team built the platform using:
- Angular 21 for the frontend
- .NET 10 for backend services
- AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning
- AWS services, including Lambda and Aurora PostgreSQL, for efficient data processing and
monitoring
The solution supported real-time data synchronization and seamless integration with legacy systems,
ensuring uninterrupted business operations. The team addressed the challenge of real-time data
synchronization without AWS DMS by architecting a cloud-native, event-driven framework utilizing
Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions. This approach delivered near real-time data
propagation, enhanced scalability and reliability, reduced dependency on specialized migration
services, and optimized operational efficiency within the existing AWS ecosystem.
Custom AI-driven workflows enforced architectural standards, naming conventions, and logging
practices, ensuring consistency across generated code. The approach also automated the generation of
application programming interface (API) endpoints, user interface (UI) components, and
infrastructure, significantly accelerating development cycles.
This resulted in a robust, scalable platform that addressed key operational challenges while
improving development efficiency, traceability, and system performance.
