Paid Leave for Caregiving Responsibilities

Infosys recognizes that employees may need time away from work to provide care and support to family members facing illness, disability, age-related care needs, or other significant personal circumstances. In addition to parental leave programs, Infosys provides a range of family and caregiving support measures across its global operations, aligned with local regulatory requirements and employee wellbeing objectives. Depending on the country of employment, these provisions may include leave to care for spouses, partners, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, dependents, or other eligible relatives requiring physical or mental health support. Examples include dependent care and emergency care of dependents leave in Germany, family care and family solidarity leave in France, carer's leave and emergency time off for dependents in the United Kingdom, bereavement leave and elder care support services in India, and sick/carer leave and compassionate leave in Australia. In the United States, employees may use paid sick leave for their own or a family member’s physical or mental health needs, medical or preventive care, or public-health-related circumstances, and other reasons required by applicable law. Through these programs, Infosys supports employees in balancing professional responsibilities with family caregiving obligations while fostering employee wellbeing, inclusion, and a supportive workplace culture.
