The Solution

Proactive monitoring and management of Bausch’s cloud platforms

Infosys adopted a 3-phased approach to manage CloudOps for Bausch Health – Knowledge Transfer, Primary Support, and Secondary Support

  • Configured automated health checks for AWS EC2, AWS RDS and Amazon Redshift resources on the cloud watch monitor and SNS to auto-create ServiceNow incidents with priority-based model on different environments - Development, Testing, and Production
  • Automated daily health-check reports for AWS Resources such as EC2 Instances, RDS, and Amazon Redshift to make sure backups are functioning as expected
  • Automated the aged access keys and inactive-users list report as part of Bausch security policy (disabling IAM users after 365 days of inactivity)

  • Improved operational and infrastructure services to drive efficiency through service excellence
  • Helped in cost savings through offshore model. Services provided under various support models are:
    • Provided 16x5 coverage on-desk L2 support from the offshore team
    • Provided 8x5 coverage on-desk L3 support
    • On-call support during off-business hours for P1 incidents
  • Enabled high availability mechanism by provisioning VMs in different availability zones
