Putting AI at the Core of Transformation | Infosys Breakout Session at AWS re:Invent 2025

Infosys hosted a breakout session titled “Putting AI at the Core of Transformation (AIM427-S)”, where industry leaders from BP, Transamerica, Hertz, and United Airlines shared their transformative journeys. They highlighted how AI-first strategies are unlocking innovation, improving operational resilience, and delivering superior customer experiences with Infosys and AWS.

Session Highlights

• Srinivas Gopal Sugavanam, VP – Data & AI Business Head at Infosys, introduced the session and shared Infosys’ view on enterprise AI transformation, emphasizing three stages—digital, composable, and autonomous—and the rapid evolution from Everyday AI to Agentic AI.
• Keisha Garcia, VP – Digital Enterprise Platforms & Systems of Work at BP, spoke about migrating 95% of BP’s applications to the cloud, enabling AI-driven predictive maintenance, digital twins, and sustainable energy solutions.
• Srinivas Upadhyaya, Head of Business Services and Digital Technologies at Transamerica, discussed retiring mainframe systems, building modern data lakes, and accelerating AI adoption to deliver customer-centric digital journeys.
• Sada Iyer, SVP – Platform Engineering at Hertz, explained how Hertz executed an all-in cloud migration, modernized legacy platforms, and leveraged AI for operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
• Krishna Srinivasan, Director – Architecture, Cloud & DevOps at United Airlines, shared how United implemented its Cloud 3.0 program, built AI/ML platforms, and deployed AI agents for faster customer care and personalized flight notifications.
