I lead Infosys' Public Sector business in the UK, and today we are at one of the most exciting moments in our growth journey. We have secured some of the most significant programmes in UK Public Sector. What energises me most is the opportunity to build teams that will be crucial to the successful delivery of these transformational programmes over the next decade.

Over the years, I have learned that the people who make the greatest impact are rarely defined by the most conventional career paths. Success in our industry comes from the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, work across cultures, and stay resilient when dealing with complex challenges. Public sector transformation is demanding, but it is also incredibly rewarding because the outcomes will have a direct impact on citizens and communities.

What excites me about Infosys is that we are in build mode. We are creating opportunities, expanding capabilities, and giving people the chance to shape something meaningful rather than simply maintain it. That kind of environment accelerates both personal and professional growth.

One area I care deeply about is creating a more diverse and representative industry. We need broader perspectives, different experiences, and people who may not have traditionally seen themselves reflected in technology and consulting. For me, helping build that future is just as important as the programmes we deliver. This is a unique moment in our journey, and I am proud to be part of shaping what comes next.

If there is one thing my career has taught me, it is that there is no single route to leadership. I grew up in Manchester, started my career through an apprenticeship, spent seven years in the Army, and eventually found my way into large-scale transformation programmes. Looking back, every stage of that journey helped prepare me for where I am today.

As Programme Director for one of the largest public sector transformation programmes in the UK, I am responsible for delivering a programme that goes far beyond technology. We are transforming the employee experience across the entire workforce lifecycle, from recruitment and talent management to learning, performance, payroll, and beyond.

What makes this work meaningful is its impact. When these systems work better, public sector employees spend less time navigating processes and more time focusing on the people they serve. That sense of purpose is what keeps me motivated every day.

One of the things I value most about Infosys is the belief that opportunity should not be limited by background. The organisation creates space for people to grow, take ownership, and broaden their skills. As this programme continues to evolve, we will need expertise across change management, data, AI, training, and delivery. Eighteen years is a long time. Long enough to see an industry transform completely and long enough to know whether a company has lived up to what it promised you at the start.

I joined Infosys as a consultant and have grown into an Associate Vice President - Senior Industry Principal, leading some of the most complex enterprise transformation programmes in the UK. That progression was not accidental. Infosys puts you at the centre of work that stretches your thinking and expands your scope. We have a culture that actively encourages ownership beyond your defined role, and genuine engagement at the most senior levels of client organisations.

The programme I am most proud to be part of right now is one of the largest public sector workforce transformations in the UK, modernising the national HR and payroll infrastructure. The scale is extraordinary, but what makes it meaningful is the purpose. Every improvement we deliver reduces administrative burden on frontline teams and gives people more time to focus on the communities they serve.

What makes it unique is how we work: as co-creators, building something together with our client, and that shared ownership changes everything about how the work feels.

That blend of purpose and partnership is, I think, what Infosys does best. It is a values-led organisation where ethics, transparency, and long-term thinking are deeply integrated within the organization's DNA. After eighteen years, that consistency still matters to me. It is what has kept me here, and what continues to make the work feel worthwhile.
