Springboard Tabs Distribution

Increase in the Digital Literacy & providing additional devices for e-learning

While the initiative is to take the Digital Literacy to as many students as we can and to almost every corner of the country through the Infosys Springboard initiative, the task was to ensure the 500 Tabs that were assigned to the Hyderabad DC were distributed to maximum beneficiaries. The plan was then made to distribute them across 2 schools & 12 colleges across Telangana (Government-run) instead of choosing the schools or colleges around Hyderabad. We then collaborated with an NGO – Nirmaan to plan the same. Eventually, 80 tabs were distributed as part of 2 high-profile client visits in the DC while the remaining 420 tabs were distributed across 12 locations spread around the state of Telangana. Every school or college that the team visited began with the tab’s distribution and then the Infosys Springboard Orientation for both the faculty and the students that encompasses the entire repository of trainings, options & opportunities available for their self-learning and that helps in both upskilling or cross skilling. The CSR team covered 3100 KMS to donate 500 tabs within 30 days that will now help as many as 7750 beneficiaries (2 Government schools & 12 State Welfare colleges) in their digital learning.
