Situation

The client, a global technology leader, needed to implement a complex, large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation while addressing specific regional legal and tax needs, integrating existing systems, and using the implementation as a catalyst for broader business transformation. They client chose Infosys Consulting as their partner to navigate this complex undertaking.

Solution

  • Strategic, end-to-end OCM framework embedded early in the program as key success factor for planning, implementing and overseeing change in the organization.
  • Process redefinition, role-mapping, enablement of new ways of working to support change and maximize adoption of SAP S4/HANA.
  • Global business transformation across 58 countries over 5 deployment phases and 2.5 years.
  • Comprising of 19 OCM/training FTEs at both global and ‘hub’ levels (physically situated in NAM/LATAM, EU and APAC) to support local/country deployments.
  • Successfully raised initial awareness and accelerated business readiness with successful deployment of global change impact template and self-assessment toolkit to 220 local factory units.
  • Day 1 readiness and organizational capability through a systematic approach to training.
  • Robust train-the-trainer and multi-modal training delivery (virtual instructor led, system demo, hands-on practice, e-learning).
  • 900 virtual sessions, incl. 250 LSTRs delivered to more than 3,000 key users.
  • 150 e-learning modules delivered, and 16,000 end users trained.
  • Supported program leadership to achieve transformation objectives through the delivery of professional, high-quality communications, utilizing expert strategic communications, channel development and content design skills.
