Supply chain and E2E bid management
Infosys Consulting's role in transforming the client’s supply chain involved rolling out the integrated planning solution (IPS) to different fabrication plants (Fabs). This included implementing a demand planning solution and developing end-to-end solutions across multiple workstreams, such as ERP, middleware, data warehouse, and Kinaxis Rapid Response (RR). The focus was on creating a cohesive and integrated planning environment that could handle the complexities of semiconductor manufacturing and supply chain management. The engagement also emphasized the importance of bid management within the supply chain context. Infosys Consulting leveraged its expertise in managing complex integrations and enhancing operational efficiency to streamline the bid management process. This involved ensuring that all supply chain activities, from demand planning to procurement and logistics, were aligned with the overall business objectives of the client. The integration of various systems and the implementation of robust planning solutions enabled the client to achieve greater visibility and control over their supply chain, leading to improved decision-making and operational efficiency.
In conclusion, the Infosys Consulting engagement with the client exemplifies how strategic partnerships and innovative solutions can transform supply chain and bid management processes in the high-tech industry.
