Global TV & broadband giant embraces hybrid work with seamless Microsoft 365 migration

Situation

An international TV and broadband company successfully transitioned its employees and contractors to Microsoft 365 to enable new hybrid working models. The project employed a two-pronged approach, prioritizing seamless migration to minimize disruption and maximizing user adoption of the integrated collaboration tools. Despite challenges including security concerns, limited leadership sponsorship, the complexity of the existing PC environment and user profiles, and the lack of a clear roadmap for phasing out legacy communication and storage platforms like Skype for Business, Webex, and personal folders, the company effectively implemented Microsoft 365. This strategic move empowered their workforce with modern tools for enhanced collaboration and productivity in a hybrid work setting.

Solution

Our solutions centered on a people-centric change and communications strategy designed to optimize employee experience throughout the Microsoft 365 migration and adoption process. This involved defining migration personas and analyzing the change impact for various user groups. We established a tailored adoption approach based on specific business scenarios and implemented a targeted communications plan to keep users informed and engaged. To further support adoption, we established a champion network within the organization and designed a comprehensive training program.
