Sustainability Meets Commerce

Retail enterprises need to revisit operational strategies and growth plans to pivot to the circular economy. Customers, employees and business partners prioritize brands that are committed to sustainability. At the same time, retailers should comply with stringent environmental regulations and fulfill social obligations.

  • Reduce consumption of energy, water and raw materials. Mindful consumption conserves natural resources, while minimizing pollution and waste generation.
  • Reuse materials including packaging. Further, products can be refurbished and repurposed to extend their life.
  • Recycle end-of-life products as well as waste materials. For instance, plastic bottles and cloth hangers can be recycled into toner cartridges.
