Sustainability Meets Commerce

Retail enterprises need to revisit operational strategies and growth plans to pivot to the circular economy.   • Reduce consumption of energy, water and raw materials. Mindful consumption conserves natural resources, while minimizing pollution and waste generation.
  • Reuse materials including packaging. Further, products can be refurbished and repurposed to extend their life.
  • Recycle end-of-life products as well as waste materials. For instance, plastic bottles and cloth hangers can be recycled into toner cartridges.

Our expert recommends that enterprises should combine a ‘design thinking’ culture with AI tools to embed sustainability into commerce. Analytical insights enable responsible sourcing and ‘green’ supply chain operations.
