Since the COVID-19 pandemic, shopping priorities for consumers have changed significantly. It no longer depends on choice, convenience, or finding the best product at the cheapest price but has shifted to choosing products that are now categorized into two categories – essentials and non-essentials. While some consumers prefer going to the nearest store to stock these essentials, a significant number of them have shifted to shopping online. These changes in consumer behavior have led to significant disruptions in the retail industry, followed by the logistics and consumer goods companies.
