Awards are but tiny recognitions of our efforts as we strive for excellence. Infosys is a consistent early adopter of a host of industry best practices, sustainability measures, and pro people initiatives. These have attracted industry recognition from time to time, and here is a brief highlight of some of the major awards we won in 2017.
Early this year, we won the
Golden Peacock Environment Management Award – 2017. The award was bestowed upon Infosys in recognition of the significant initiatives undertaken to enhance the reputation, governance, and sustainability practices, and create new benchmarks. The award also recognized that as an organization, Infosys had gone beyond the statutory, ethical, and sustainability compliance requirements to achieve high standards of corporate excellence.
We then went on to receive awards for the
Best CEO, Best CFO, and Best Investor Relations at the 2017 All-Asia Executive Team rankings by Institutional Investor magazine in the Technology/IT Services and Software category. The 2017 ranking was based on a survey of buy-side analysts, money managers, and sell-side researchers at securities firms and financial institutions that cover Asia.
Infosys has been widely recognized across the IT industry for its responsible business practices, and later in the year we went on to win the
Responsible Business and the Indo-U.S. Trade Driver of the Year and Responsible Business Awards at the 13th Indo-American Corporate Excellence Awards 2017. The Indo-American Corporate Excellence Awards recognizes organizations and individuals that promote Indo-US Trade and have made significant contributions impacting all spheres of the corporate ecosystem, such as business, industry, and the community.
More recently, Infosys won the
Platinum Award at the Asset Corporate Awards. This is the longest running Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) award in Asia and is bestowed annually by leading research house, Asset Benchmark Research (ABR). This award is based on an evaluation of financial performance, management, corporate governance, social and environmental responsibility, and investor relations.
